DPCs monitoring your output?

I was curious. I have been watching the daily total output of teamanandtech and the DPCs and it seems like every day that your team has higher than average day, they have a higher than average day. Does anyone else see this, or am I just loony? (Then again, those don't necessarily have to be mutually exclusive.)

TA and DPC both have a lot of members, and like most teams, are affected by the typical work week, saturdays and sundays are usually low due to less uptime, and mondays are usually big because people dump when returning to the office where they have any machines left running, fridays are above avg as well, people dumping before they head hme for the weekend.

oh, and besides that, yes you can be very sure there are several DPC watching TA's every move very closely, not only on Dnet, but many of our team proxys as well. And I wont deny there are TA members who keep an equal level of surveillance on the DPC activities as well.

It's a little too obvious though. It's 1.1 M more almost daily. I'm amazed that only a few have noticed that our growth is matched exactly. Only during secret dumps have we been able to escape the seemingly endless torrent of blocks that magically appear.

What's really amazing is that virtually every DPC mini-team has had from its inception, the self-control to carefully hoard blocks for hundreds of days... then - (insert drum-roll here) just when needed - they dump. Of course, only just enough to continue the 1.1M buffer.

Look at the block production records. It's the same story with all of them. Even with the banning of Bill G. - no effect at all. A massive pool of blocks just waiting to be dumped? - or... is it something else? (insert evil music here)

Consider what would happen to Team Anandtech production if TACube were banned. Does anyone believe that TA output would immediately INCREASE? I was born at night.... but not last night. It's a little wierd.

Interestingly, this doesn't happen with OGR on a daily basis. That is because some of TA's biggest OGR contributors are not dumping through TA public proxies, and are not real consistant flushers. When a major TA OGRflush has occured in the past, the DPCs happen to turn in a good day as well.

Hmmmm, maybe it's time for a good OGRFlush again to test that theory.

The thing that I dont understand is why they would horde blocks for so long. How many blocks do you think they are NOT getting credit for because they were either produced as randoms from someone else while they were holding, or reissued from dnet? How does reissue work? do they reissue after a certain amount of time, or do we have large "holes" in the keyspace now and those sections will be reissued after we get to the end of the keyspace? I think I need to go to bed, my brain is running much too much.

I really never look at the AnandTech proxy's, and I believe only very few, if non of the DPC are doing that

I only see the difference between DPC en Anandtech on my cell phone when I recieve a SMS when the stats are done that day. But trying to match your score + 1 million every day, no, not that

I can explain you some things:

Monday stats are high because my public proxy flushes about 1.2M every sunday, tuesday stats are high because everybody goes back to work and milk his/her cows at work.

The rest of the week.... just standard flushes.

Blocks already flushed will NOT be counted on the daily stats of the team if you join. They WILL be added to the total stats. So it's not possible to get your team higher in the daily-stats by joining it. Only new blocks flushed will be counted on the daily stats.
