Just wanted to let everyone know a little problem i ran into with the newest version of Dr. DivX from DivX labs. i was encoding a few video's and didn't pay attention to what I named one of them. I left a "/" in one of the file names. OOOOPS. I was unable to delete the file using any known method. I tried using file renamers, batch file, KNOPPIX....everything. i eventualy got fed up and moved everything off of that drive, formatted and let it go but what a pain. If anyone else can think of a way to change the filename of a file with a windows restricked symbol in it let me know. I wish Dr. DiVx would have let me know that i was making such a big boo boo but oh well. Live and learn. Just be careful when naming files in this program.
