The DLCs for Inquisition are an interesting lot. Each is effectively designed toward a different style of RPG. "Jaws of Hakkon" adds a whole new "zone" to explore, with a main quest line, but also plenty of side quests and nonlinear exploration. "The Descent" is essentially a dungeon crawler, a few extra things to do but progression is fairly linear. "Trespasser" is very story and character focused, jumping forward two years after the ending of DAI and progressing the story regarding
that was teased at the end. Lots of interaction with your party members and advisors. The kind of thing that you
could just look up footage for online, but I still think it's much more enjoyable actually experiencing it as a game.
I enjoyed all of them, but I have to say, if you're only going to buy one, get Trespasser. It's really great, and functions much better as the ending to the Inquisitor's story than the ending of the main game, which was underwhelming. Also, it has some
great music.
Since this thread is a little active, I figure I'll mention a little graphical effect I noticed recently while playing. If your character is wading in water and swings a melee weapon, the weapon will cause visual ripples and splash sound effects if it touches the water. Sometimes as a graphics junkie, it's the little moments of attention to detail that count.
