Your choices weren't really even acknowledged in Dragon Age Awakening, immediately proceeding Dragon Age Origins! Plus you could kill Sebastian yet somehow he comes back to life in DA2. Total garbage story.

I don't recall Sebastian being in DAO. AFAIK, he was only a DLC character in DA2.

Just adding my name to the list. Pre-ordered and will own for both console and pc gaming. That way, if computer is being used, I'll play on my PS3. If that's occupied, I can play on my gaming rig. Win-win!

I didn't see this posted, but Bioware finally released the PC requirements:

Recommended:
OS: Windows 7 or 8.1 64-bit
CPU: AMD six core CPU @ 3.2 GHz, Intel quad core CPU @ 3.0 GHz
System RAM: 8 GB
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 7870 or R9 270, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
Graphics Memory: 2 GB
Hard Drive: 26 GB
DirectX 11

Or, if you're playing on a slightly older setup, here are the minimum system requirements:

Minimum:
OS: Windows 7 or 8.1 64-bit
CPU: AMD quad core CPU @ 2.5 GHz, Intel quad core CPU @ 2.0 GHz
System RAM: 4 GB
Graphics CARD: AMD Radeon HD 4870, NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT
Graphics Memory: 512 MB
Hard Drive: 26 GB
DirectX 10

Also released a short video showcasing the PC version interface..

This game is definitely looking great. Bioware knows they have a lot on the line with this one and they really put some effort into it. The specs also seem very reasonable.

We knew this game was going to be CPU heavy, as it's made with Frostbite 3 and lots of environmental effects, destruction and the nature of the combat as well..

The usual stuff that generally comes with a pre-order, the details are here
https://www.origin.com/en-ca/store/.../pc-download/base-game/digital-deluxe-edition

Some armor, a 2 mounts mount, a throne for your keep, the soundtrack, and a generic more bonus content heading.

Generally right up to release day you can pre-order it

They're supposed to announce additional Deluxe-exclusive content prior to release. I'm still waiting for that myself, because the current incentives are quite uninteresting, although the price difference between the regular version and Deluxe is just $10 ($59 Vs. $69), so I'm not exactly expecting anything much better than what's currently being offered.

I'm very hyped for the game, however, and it does really look good so I might just pre-order Deluxe regardless of the incentives for the sake of saying thanks the only meaningful way I can as a consumer to BioWare (by giving them more money).

There's some guys using VPN and proxy servers to get a discount on Origin. Anyone ever tried that before, and did it work?

Nevermind, tried it and it worked! Got the digital deluxe edition for 44 bucks using the Mexican VPN trick..

I'm looking forward to this game however they have removed some stuff ie attributes are gone, apparently they auto level with you so no manual assignment, also no magic healing ie you have to rely on healing potions which are limited.

Seems like they are either trying to make it a harder game or dumbing it down or both.

Its EA, they're most certainly going to casualize the game. Wait for reviews and write ups before buying.

And never, ever preorder games. From any publisher.

I preorder mostly from Best Buy now. If the reviews suck then I don't have to pick it up, otherwise I get whatever bonus stuff is included, plus the $10 credit they've been giving.

Downgraded to 900p on the XB1, 1080p on the PS4.

One assumes 3840x2160 on the PC.

Battlefield 4 only runs at about 40-45 fps at 4K with no AA or SSAO on a single 980 +220MHz core for me, since this is an RPG with a huge open world it's going to be way more demanding than BF4.

Likely those are 1080p requirements, I would expect probably 30-35fps on a single 980 at max no AA at 4K. Will probably need a Titan II to get this playable at 4K on a single card.

People tend to over estimate the requirements for 4K gaming. But yeah, one is still going to need more GPU power for 4K.

Use FlyVPN for their Mexican VPN, and log onto the EA Origins Mexican website and buy the game using the ordinary process. I would use PayPal for security reasons, and the Chrome browser to translate unless you know how to speak Spanish..

After that, log into the Origin client and check your games listing and it should be there, but greyed out since it's not released yet.

I can't say I'm real fond of some of the armor design but yeah the textures and reflections and such all look really nice. That's also one of the nicer looking fiery swords I've seen lol.

Is there some written rule that all fantasy must use clean cut English accents? I want to see a game that's in southern drawl and cockney.

Dude: Ya'll like, aint you like, heroes and all?
Dude 2: Yo wot mate? Speak the bloody lingo mate you tosser.
Dude: Ya'll got a really preddy mouth. Ya'll, I ain't gonna lie to you fellas. I'm gonna kill you and it ain't gonna be pretty. My ma gonna make you into a pie.
Dude 2: Yo wot mate? Yo wot mate?! Right, it's bloody on. It's bloody on you twat faced balmy tosser. Right!

At the risk of being attacked... I kind of liked DA2. Although it was not like DAO almost another game except for the setting.

I thought DA2 was a bit clunky with the items and while the combat was fun I spent so much time paused. I do think it would have been better with more varied environments and enemies but the gameplay itself was fun imo.

I am hoping DA3 is going to be good because I want bioware to do well. If they don't it erases one of the larger RPG makers from the games I can look forward to.

I would be fearful they will remove my games for this abuse. I don't think its worth the savings.
