Remember guys, DA2 also had strong reviews to start. Not to mention, since this is such an expansive game, there is little chance that any of these reviewers put enough time into it to find out the true flaws, similar to how they only played the beginning of DA2 and then missed the extensive reuse of enemies, environments, etc.
Also, if you read between the lines on a lot of these reviews, there are warning signs. One reviewer said the tactical view wasn't useless because of how hectic and fast paced the battles were. Another said the game didn't make him feel tactical challenged or interested, but he still had fun anyway. Yet another said don't go in expecting anything 'difficult' or 'hardcore', which could mean 'involved and not shallow'.
If you liked DA2, then you have nothing to worry about since I doubt DA:I would be worse than that. However, to those of you who felt burned by DA2, I'd recommend at least waiting a month or two to let the hype die down and opinions settle before looking into DA:I.
