Only an issue if YOU need streaming, maybe Origin will do it at some point down the road,to be fair Steam has being around for a very long time and not surprising one of the first to offer this service.

I'll point out streaming is not a top priority for a lot of gamers.

I need streaming. Especially since that's the ONLY thing I asked about. Now what?

Does EA have you on their payroll or something?

The guy has a legitimate complaint about a feature Steam has that Origin doesn't that makes it a no-go for him. That an issue as far as he concerned.

I don't care about streaming, but I also have avoided installing origin to this day and would like to keep it that way.

there's no real major pre-order incentive if I'd be getting the Deluxe edition regardless, right?

I'm thinking I might give my DA:I purchase a month to wait for reviews to settle down and look at the modding community (plus, it gives me time to play the new WoW expansion which I already preordered)

Why would they have me on their payroll and why are you being rude?

Streaming is not a subject that pops up that often, end of the day nothing you or I can do about it,he is out of luck.

Take it up with EA or Origin not me.

Don't think any benefit for pre-order for you, plus side in waiting are patches for bugs they find,as to modding I hear its going to be hard to mod DA:I according to their forums at Bioware.

Also in waiting better chance of optimized drivers for DA:I from Nvidia and AMD.

I have Origin and Uplay... It's not like I don't have them. But Steam wins. It's the most comprehensive service with Steam In Home Streaming, the ability to share games with my family members (My brother actually has purchased some Steam games that I can play), the Music options that pause music whenever someone is talking which is great since now I can actually hear voice chat and still listen to the new Taylor Swift album, etc.

DA3 being on Origin only really is sad. Origin has some nice things going for it, but considering that with the kids sleeping in the next room to the gaming room, the best place for me to now play is wherever I can find a quiet spot. That means I play on my laptop, which is 6 years old. I couldn't play anything but Dota 2 before, but with Steam In Home Streaming, I can play any game and utilize the vast power of my desktop from anywhere in the house.

I hope EA adds this feature soon though. I do like Origin's free to play time limits and their free games but I really love steam in home streaming and also most friends are on it.

I Liked DA2 enough to get DA 3 even on Origin though. Lucky EA that Ubisoft has been so horrendous recently that they look like a saint now. UPlay, well forget that... I just don't get why I'm supposed to use that service...

Now I have not used the streaming personally so not sure if this workaround will work, but I do know that you can add other non-steam games to the steam library, would streaming work then for that non-steam game?

Only works for steam games apparently. Good for them though because otherwise you could just pirate games and launch them from steam. Forces you to buy games. You can launch a game though, then walk to the host PC, tab out, launch the game you wan tto play, and do that. Not sure of how it works though and for a game like DA3, I probably can't have 2 games running at once.

Maybe someone will start a petition for Origin to add the same feature.

I think with a game like this with part 2 being so bad it's a good idea. Honestly I don't think pre-orders re ever a good idea anymore. If the game is poor to average the price will drop like a rock, if it's good then it will hold value but it's not like you would have saved much if anything on a preorder and most of the pre-order bonus material is serious geek garbage

I always wait. Very few games now that I'll pay full value for just to play it on day 1.

Halo 4 I did so and within a week the game was available for $20 after discounts.

I'm a sucker for a good preorder bonus, especially if it's limited content that won't be available after the game is released... but otherwise, yeah, I'm a fan of waiting.

Out of curiosity, have I missed a 20% off voucher from GreenManGaming that could be applied to Inquisition? The current voucher doesn't work for it (expires on the 14th). I'm just wondering if they did release a voucher that worked with Inquisition since they got it available (if anyone knows that is). I doubt that their next voucher would apply for Inquisition though (but we never know, I'll wait a couple of days in just case).

Don't forget to go to dragonagekeep.com and get your save import file ready. I assume the site will likely blow up from load if you wait until launch day.

The Tapestry has a ton of options and choices for DAO and DA2. Took me almost an hour to review all of them and set up my world state. Wonder how much of an impact some of them will have on the world? Some of them seemed relatively minor.

Same here, but the only thing is I cant remember what some of the outcomes of the choices where for some of them and the site does not give you much detail as to what the outcome is

So....is this game buggy? Does it have SLI profile for us SLI users? I haven't bought a new game on release since BF4, and that was a MESS! I usually wait a few months for the first sale and the major patches....so i'm really hesitant to buy it upon release... are the preorder items any good?

Supposed to be a few bugs according to their forums from reviews, but you won't know about the rest until it's officially released,pre-order is always a gamble on the game with regards to bugs/quality etc..

Also we don't know how fast they will release the first patch so another unknown wait factor.

I'll say I'm betting AMD and Nvidia release drivers for this game pretty fast.

I wish the Keep had the ability to import saves. Can't remember some of the choices I made, so I have to spend time reading the wiki and try to piece together what result I want.

It does? It scanned my PC and found my saves and showed me the story without me doing hardly anything. After it did that it gave me the option to change my choices.

Unless I'm missing something?

The game scan is a little broken, it missed almost half of DA:O from my saves. I double checked it and it's not loading all the saves just the first couple.

I know that during the closed beta and even when it is now in open beta, there was not all of the choices that are available and I seem to have seen some different / added ones since i did my import at the tail end of the closed beta an now.

And they have even said that there is some choices that will not be there until likely after launch of DA:I

Just checked and made sure my DA:O and DA2 save files are ready and available. Will there be significant impacts to DA3 with the choices that we made in the previous games?
