I drilled holes in the bottom of our oven, so that drawer functions as a handy oversized drip tray. My wife thought I was so smart with that conversion.
I put foil on the bottom of my oven.

Gets kinda dried out down there, doesn't it?
Is it big enough to last the life of the oven or do you have to drain it once in awhile?

Two ovens, the smaller oven is on top instead of on the bottom. Ideal, because we use the smaller oven space more often than the larger oven space. No useless storage or broiler for me.
I'm surprised more aren't made this way.
I have one in the house i've been at the last 12 years. Its used to store the pots and pans that you never gonna fucking use. I haven't opened that draw in atleast 10 years.
WTF are you cooking in your oven that drips so much that it will actually hit the bottom of the oven and pool up enough to drip through the bottom?I drilled holes in the bottom of our oven, so that drawer functions as a handy oversized drip tray. My wife thought I was so smart with that conversion.
