This. I keep thinking of picking up some of Kevin Moore's other stuff from after he left DT, but never got around to it. Anyone know if any of it is good?

I never got into his Chroma Key/solo work, but I do like his OSI albums.

Yngwie has plenty of tacky neo-Baroque riffs that were perfectly fun when Vivaldi did them and perfectly fun now. Dream Theater is irredeemable.

You're crazy. Four Seasons > anything that DT or Yngwie have done

I'm knowledgeable. Vivaldi wrote much more than the Four Seasons.

I started listening to 10k days. <3

Meh

double meh.

DT can do no wrong <3

Fixed.

Even w/o this cd in question, DT has released quite a few WTF tracks that I can't listen to.

It's JLB's voice man.

I like everything DT's put out. BUT it is a different degree of liking. Some I just kinda like, others are freaking awesome.

Pull Me Under is my favorite song - and the remix on their greatest hit album just plain rocks!

Scenes From A Memory would have to be my favorite album.

SDIT is a good album, IMO, though yeah there are some tracks that aren't as good. LaBrie certainly has a unique sound - but it works for most of their stuff, but I know what you mean.

Edit: I am glad that James LaBrie is doing the voals though - I was not a fan of Charlie Dominici.

I agree with all of the above.

Chroma Key is very experimental sounding. Similar to space-dye vest from Awake (I actually have an old demo tape Kevin Moore used to give out that has a solo version of this song on it). You can listen to all the albums streamed at http://www.chromakey.com/ Start with Dead air for Radios.

One thing you might not like is his vocal work, it is just something you need to get past or you will just hate it, he is an adequate singer, but that is all. Otherwise the music and lyrics are great.
