I like hard crunchy melodic metal. Images and Words fully filled that, however all their albums since then, they keep digressing into somekind of mixture of a little of everything. Kind of get the impression I am listening to some really really good musicians, just all doing their own thing at the same time....... My opinion only of course. I am just saying if you liked that particular album, you will probably like this band.

Downloaded the tracks, only listened to a bit so far but very cool guitar riffs so far.

Also I have to agree with the others, how could you not like Dream Theater's other work!?

Does nobody else notice a difference between Images and Words and the rest of their work?!? I know of at least one other person that has the same feelings as I; that something changed after that album and their stuff just did not sound the same. I really want to like it, but just don't :-(
