In reality, I would never buy a f1 or a p1. They're both outrageously expensive and you lose a lot of value by driving them even a little. I would be too responsible with my money to indulge in such ridiculousness. If I bought any supercar then maybe it would be a Nissan gtr.

Da fook?

F1's certainly hold their value regardless of driving. Even if you crash one BAD it would be worth more than the original sale price lol.

I really doubt they hold their value regardless of driving.

A F1 McLaren that you bought for $10 million with <5k miles is not going to fetch $10 million when you have put 50k miles on it.

My own mechanic/body/paint crew, a pile of the cars I've always wanted to mod the f out of, grease up to my elbows, and the doors opening onto a private mountain road course. I'm more about having the money and time to tinker with things, especially turning ho-hum cars into something cool. And then driving the hell out of them. =)

Daily driver still my C230 - I really want to replace the Roots charger with a turbo and push the boost as far as I can. Plus replace the front suspension subframe, and improve the camber change on cornering.

Had a beat up 95 Sentra SE-R in college and never had to money to get the most out of it. Would have loved to turn that into a drift monster with all the body trim, and sweet interior.

I would love to get one of the old MG TCs or similar, and see about stuffing a modern turbo 4 in it and retrofit a nice multi-link suspension and decent width tires. Could really screw with people pulling up at lights and revving the engine. =)

Mclaren f1 gtr, mclaren p1.

Big pickup truck for hauling stuff.

Something like a Toyota Prius for daily driving.

I'd also have a couple motorcycles. Undecided on which.

Honestly, after having the f1 and p1... Why would I care for any other car except for running errands?

I might get a Prius too.

With a twin turbo LS7 in it.

For teh lulz. :awe:

DD : Car service. Or Audi S7/Tesla Model S/MB S63.

Others:
Lambo Aventador
Ferrari 458
GT-R
New Vette Z06
911 Turbo
Cayman S
A few track-ready Miatas to dick around in
Some flavor of modern Rolls or Bentley
Porsche 918 Spyder

These would all be new...classic cars don't really do it for me.

Some of my all time dream cars:

Saleen S7 TT - to be seen
Jeep AEV Conversion - to offorad
Jaguar XKR-S (Convertible) - to enjoy the wind in my hair
2015 Viper TA2 - track duty
Year One Trans AM 7.0L - to do burnouts
Chevrolet SS - to cruise the interstate
MBZ G63 - for when it snows
MBZ CL65 - date night ride

Most of all I would buy a 40' luxury Motor home like a Beaver & a 60-70 foot yacht like a Ferretti 650. I would spend the majority of my life sailing the Caribbean hopping from island to island partying with all of our friends.

If I were a billionaire, I'd probably have a very comfortable van driven by a chauffeur. I'd never look inside my garage and would neither know nor care what's in there.

Yep
The safest car I could find as now I have a lot to live for and having some dumbass T-bone my car or me being a dumbass in a hotrod on the street is going to lower my life expectancy.
I may go to a track day or ride dirt bikes on private land if I want a thrill, mixing it up in regular traffic?

I wouldn't have a Garage, I'd have a Showroom.

Rare, obscure, and old cars would certainly be part of it. Not sure about DD though. Just so many choices, probably would go from one Brand to another over time. Aston Martin, BMW, Porsche, and MB would all get some of my time, perhaps Bentley and Rolls as well. Outside of those I'm not too sure, Exotics and Super Cars are doubtful, other Major Brands just don't compete on the level of the aforementioned, for the Billionaire anyway.

I'd try and locate an unmolested Boss429 Mustang, very rare, very fast, and the classic late 60's-early '70's body style..

My DD would be a brand new, fresh from the factory (I'd go pick it up) 2015 F150 Lariat 4x4 then I'd have it sent to Roush and have it modified to stage 3, minus the body mods (if any).

My short list of fantasy cars:
1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442
1982 Lamborghini Countach LP500s
1990 Ferarri Testarossa
1987 Buick Grand National GNX

I'd buy my old man a 70-1/2 Z28 and a half-million budget to restore it.
I'd buy my mother a 2002 Eclipse GT V6 5MT and a hundred thousand to modify it.

early 70's Buick 442 vert
A Buick is a Skylark, the Oldsmobile was a 442. So, which one?

The wife would want a Hellcat off the bat

I'm more the Warren Buffet type of thinker and would fix up my old house and just get one of the 2015 Mazda Miata's decked out.

But probably would get more later I imagine, yeah an old Grand National or a Super Bird came to mind....

If a Billionare, I guess I'd work on a nice yacht more and live on it

The Ferrari 308 used in Magnum PI (actual show car, I heard they had 3 or 4 cars throughout the show).

I saw one of the Ferraris used on the show at an auto show once. You don't want it. The interior looked like something out of a 1950s VW Bug. A particularly ratty Bug.

Apparently to cut costs, the one that had a lot of the screen time was really just the shell of the car. They'd use a real one for close-ups, but the exterior shots and stunt driving were done with the shell car. I was pretty disappointed to see it in person. Like seeing Nicole Eggert go from this:

to a career as an ice cream truck driver:
