Dream With Me: You're a billionaire, what's in your garage?

Seriously. You sell your internet company for billion cash to Google next week.

What's your everyday driver? And what's in your garage for weekend/fun/collectable/showcase cars?

Be honest with the forum and honest with yourself. If anyone says something like "an M3 and and a RX350 for the wife" I'll call you out as a liar.

You have a billion dollars cash. What do you buy?

I can honestly say in my heart of hearts, this is what I would do and what I would drive.

My everyday driver would be a bullet proof (B7 or better rated) Mercedes G65 with Renntech engine upgrades. Electric door handles, oil slicks, tack drops, etc, the full security package. From my research it would cost nearly a million dollars to purchase this vehicle and then add the level of security upgrades I want to it. Car is about $250k, engine plus security upgrades are the rest.

I would then purchase as many examples as I possible can of my favorite car of all time, the Ferrari 288 GTO. There are 272 examples in the world, I would literally buy as many as I could for fair prices. Dozens if possible.

I would also have:

Mercedes G-Class Cabrio Final Edition
Mercedes S65
Mecedes CL65
Mercedes SL65 (all newer mercedes having Renntech or Brabus upgrades)
Mercedes SLS
Mercedes E500 Limited (rare car most people don't know about)
Bentley Brooklands
Rolls-Royce Wraith Coupe
Numerous Pagani Zondas (the different special editions)
Pagani Huayra
Restored Hummer H1
Ferrari 458 Spyder
Ferrari F40
Ferrari F40 LM
Ferrari F50
Ferrari Enzo
No LaFerrari though, I think it's ugly.
The Ferrari 308 used in Magnum PI (actual show car, I heard they had 3 or 4 cars throughout the show).
Numerous historic Ferraris, such as California Spyder LWB, 250 GT Coupe, 250 GTE, 250 LM, etc.
I would also commission Pininfarina to produce custom Ferraris.
Bugatti Veyons, several models including Super Sport, Grand Sport, etc
2015 Nissan GTR
A few 1990s Nissan Skyline GTRs

That's all I can think of right now. I would probably have a few more unique and collectable cars.

I would keep my collection to under 100 cars. Anything more would be hard to track and really enjoy.

I wouldn't have a Garage, I'd have a Showroom.

Rare, obscure, and old cars would certainly be part of it. Not sure about DD though. Just so many choices, probably would go from one Brand to another over time. Aston Martin, BMW, Porsche, and MB would all get some of my time, perhaps Bentley and Rolls as well. Outside of those I'm not too sure, Exotics and Super Cars are doubtful, other Major Brands just don't compete on the level of the aforementioned, for the Billionaire anyway.

All of the things?

What I have now plus a Terminator Cobra, Mk4 Supra, Celica AllTrac, and 2009+ CTS-V. I'd have to think about the rest.

Oh, and parking along the same idea as this:

I don't care as much for Ferraris, but the 458 looks good and I've always liked the f40. I prefer lambos, so I'd probably go collect some (diablo was my boyhood dream car), and maybe get an aventador for modern driving comforts. Always loved the McLaren f1 as well, so may try to find one.

Exotics aside though, I'd really just buy all kinds of random cars that strike my fancy. Then drive them a bit, and sell them off. Don't need to restrict myself to super elite cars, sometimes the simple ones can be best.

Well this is an interesting question because I would have a garage full of cars you would say are not high end but I appreciate them. Honestly I've never been all that interested in Ferrari/Lambos although I'd probably own one but I couldn't even tell you which one. Would need to do some research.

Daily:
Audi RS7
Audi R8
MB S63 AMG Sedan
Porsche Cayman GTS
Range Rover Supercharged
Ford F150 Raptor

Other Cars:
Camaro Z/28
Porsche 911 Turbo S
Ford Mustang GT500
Chevrolet Corvette Z06
FD RX7
MB SLS AMG GT
Dodge Charger & Challenger Hellcat
Camaro ZL1
Nissan GTR
1967 Camaro (would be for my dad it was his first new car)
Some sort of Ferrari/Lambo

I'm sure my other car category would grow quickly. Also these cars would all be modified as well.

Wow. Hmm. Just off the top of my head:

Tesla Model S P85+
Beck Electric Porsche Speedster replica (the grocery getter for around town! )
Delorean (NOS build with Stage 2 upgrade for 200HP)
Earthroamer XV-LT Super Stretch offroad RV (because hey, I could afford the gas right?)
23-window VW Samba bus (fully restored)
BRZ with Cosworth turbo (230HP)
Vintage Mini Cooper (red with white stripes!!)
2014 Porsche 911 Targa
Mazda RX-8 (in Winning Blue only!)
Plymouth Prowler (in purple, of course)
And a few Ariel Atoms for the backyard track for when friends come over

I'm actually not a huge porsche fan, even though I have a couple on the list - there's just a couple designs that I happen to really like. I'm definitely more about aesthetics than performance, and also uniqueness. I like weird cars like the Delorean (especially over the Bricklin or SLS AMG) & the Prowler, as well as subdued cool designs like the RX-8 & BRZ. Also a big fan of unique retro vehicles like the old Mini & the 23-window variation of the vanagan.

I'd have a Telsa Model S for sure.

Toys, I'm sure I'd have bunch.
A Koenigsegg would be on that list for sure. Probably the Agera R
911 GT3, and Targa 4s.
Ultima GTR for a track toy.

a guy i know who is a car nut picked up a ferrari that had been used in miami vice. not a bad piece of history. sure, a camry is faster nowadays, but that's not the point.

Testarossa? The earlier car, the Daytona Spyder, was a Ferrari clone built on a Corvette chassis.

For me? I kind of dig the Zonda... although I'm not even sure you can get one here in the US.

So, Zonda for fun, if no Zonda I guess I'd settle for a 458 Italia Spyder. An X5 for family/hauling stuff and probably a big Mercedes sedan for everyday driving. I like the 2 door Mercedes-Benz E350 convertible so probably the AMG version of that. The X5 can handle picking up out of town guests at the airport and as a runabout for visiting friends/family.

I've always wanted an older Countach but man they are pricey these days and I'd have to find a pristine example.

Oh, and a few Ducatis for extreme fun.

Ducati 1199 Superleggera
Ducati Multistrada 1200 S Touring
Ducati Monster S4RS
Ducati Monster 1100 EVO (why get rid of a bike I already own and love)
Ducati Sport Classic Paul Smart Edition

Probably a car from each of the major racing series: F1, Nascar, rally, prototype, GT, semi racing and whatever else. For street legal, a Porsche Carrera GT and 911 Turbo S depending on weather, GMC 3500 Denali 4x4 diesel, red w/white letter box C1 Corvette, Ferrari 599 GTB and something large to haul me and the hookers around.

Mclaren f1 gtr, mclaren p1.

Big pickup truck for hauling stuff.

Something like a Toyota Prius for daily driving.

I'd also have a couple motorcycles. Undecided on which.

Honestly, after having the f1 and p1... Why would I care for any other car except for running errands?

In reality, I would never buy a f1 or a p1. They're both outrageously expensive and you lose a lot of value by driving them even a little. I would be too responsible with my money to indulge in such ridiculousness. If I bought any supercar then maybe it would be a Nissan gtr.
