The VMU is the cheapest I've seen it (16.99) and it's by Sega not a third party. They also have the same VMUs going for 19.99 on the site. That link seems to be the same thing but cheaper. I haven't tested this out but it seems like it should go through. The controller is a third party for ~$11 and the game is Soul Caliber is supposedly the best DC game for ~$28 but it's on order. You could also go with House of the Dead 2 also that's only ~$17. Not super hot like the JCP deal but not bad considering it's tough to get deals on the accessories.

Well I put the order through and used a $10 off $30 coupoun for new customers even though I'm not a new customer but it took another $4 off the total. I assume it'll get rejected on this basis but who knows? I'll keep it updated when I find out.

Here's a description

It won't do you any good unless you have a Sega Dreamcast. It saves your games and can work as a miniature game boy type thing. The alternative is a plain memory card that will only save your games.
VMU in stores goes for $24.99 by Sega or $19.99 for 3rd party publishers.
Buy.com has it for $19.99 by Sega but looking through their list of Dreamcast stock I found a link to VMUs by Sega selling for less. So with free shipping or coupons and tax-free it's cheaper than buying it in stores.

As an owner of a couple of VMU's, just get the memory card...the batteries for the VMU's las about 2 weeks and are fairly expensive. The only games you can play are those that are downloaded using Sega's web network. Not worth the hassle, nor will you play them for more than five minutes. The only benefit the VMU has over the memory card is when playing football games with friends, you are given the option of calling the play on your VMU has opposed to flashing it up on the screen for your opponent to see.

I'm afraid your attempts to insult me are misguided. I was trying to show you, without using so many words, that posters on this board are discouraged from "bumping up" their own threads. (With the possible exception of an "urgent sale" on the trading board.)

Bumping up a thread in which others are not showing interest is trying to inject a false sense of popularity to your topic. People attend to topics listed first, under the assumption that these are the most popular subjects currently under discussion. By undermining this trust, you are essentially undermining the foundation of this board.

Well this deal is pretty good. I believe that Soul Calibur retails for $19.99 in the stores now though becuase its a Sega All Star title. The third party controller price is great but the VMU I have seen for 15. Not bad though

Stryder - Where have you seen Soul Caliber for 19.99 and the VMU by Sega for $15?
I've looked all over the net and haven't seen SC for less than 28.99 and never a VMU by Sega for that price. Third party yes, but Sega no.
There's no pic for the controller but as long as it works I really don't care what it looks like exactly.
