So did anyone actually have an order ship? Or did everyone get refunded? What irritates me the most is that they didn't catch the pricing error UNTIL they charged people and prepped for shipping. My understanding is that if you're charged, it's on its way. The way I see it, if you give them money, then they are obligated to deliver. Reverse also holds. Since I paid and I now own the merchandise, they can't simply take it back and give you your money; that's equivalent of the store buying the merchandise back from you at the price they sold it for, something which you as the consumer have the right to say no to.

This is the same as walking into a store, buying something, and being forced to give it back without your consent. Granted this would only apply in cases where money was actually exchanged, but from the way it looks that's what happened to a lot of people here, correct me if I'm wrong. Anyways, that's my $0.02.

I don't know about you guys but I got an e-mail saying that they require my attention on a web page to either cancel or accept the order at the new price ($99). But when I went there I got this:

"Your order has been cancelled. It is no longer necessary to confirm item prices from this order. "

And I was like "ummm...ok. Lemme get this straight. You screw up. I order. You take my money. You go 'Oh wait, our bad'. Then you cancel my order without letting me have any say. You keep my money.", I still have not recieved any refund and I talked to an amazon rep. and he said that I should have been refunded already (Directly to my bank account he said). I'm not really bitching about not getting my DC but I am bitching about how amazon handled this situation. What about you guys? Did you get refunds?

The charging before shipping miffed me too, I ordered stuff from www.buyrite1.com (an video game import place) place my order for overnight and waited a week, on their page they said that they will only charge if shipped, I complained but they wrote a reply that could be conscrewed as condesending and arrogant, saying that they didn't ship because the one of the two games were out of stock, however according to their own policies they would ship what they had.

It's sad that Amazon.com would follow this sort of crap.

BTW I finally got my stuff, but the experience soured me to Buy-rite (great prices though... but that's all)

LOL! It seems Amazon refunded my bank account for the full amount of two $10 Dreamcasts...twice! That's right...so far it looks like they refunded $50+ for a $25+ order. I only placed one order...did anyone else get the double refund?
