Thanks for the link. It looks like the sunrise might be a problem when it's visible here in the East, but I may try to get some photos of it before I go to work that morning.

In one place it says that it will begin at 12:54 (or so) AM and another says at 2:52 AM. Which is it? I'm in CA.

I believe they're saying the eclipse STARTS at 1am, but it doesn't turn red until 3AM.
