Drinking water before meals

What do you guys think about drinking water before meals? Is it healthy?

The thing is that I feel less hungry when I drink water before a meal. And that way I eat less on each meal. I wonder if that little technique will work for my weight loss.

Well if your stomach is full, you shouldn't feel hunger or be able to put a whole lot more in. I have downed a couple of glasses of water before the holiday meals for just that reason. I always overeat because there is so much and soooo good.

Drinking water before a meal is exactly when you should drink. It clears any debris that might be stuck. Drinking a lot of water during and after your meal can cause dilution of your stomach acid slowing digestion.

well the best is to drink 15-30 min b4 meal
and drink 50-90 min after

drinking water before meals stops you eating so much, the downside is an hour or so later, following some indigestion, you'll only be hungry again and you'll eat even more.

Yes it is good. This is why many weight loss experts recommend drinking a glass of water before eating a meal or snack. If that satisfies you, then it was thirst.
