Drivers for Gateway 42" Plasma Display?

I'm hooking up a 42" plasma monitor to a dell latitude D800. The latitude is outputting a 4:3 resolution, but the monitor is 16:9. Are there any drivers or tools available for doing this so my screen doesn't look distorted?

Seriously though, didn't the display come with any disks? Have you checked gateways website?

Checked Gateway's website, talked to customer service via online chat, entered serial number for the device in the search box, and talked with a representative on the phone. Nothing.

There should be a tool to do this. Don't make me write one in VB.

i think there are utilities for ATI and Nvidia cards that could customize screen resolution. Have a snoop around. what video card are you running?

It was funny. Just not hilariously so.

Video card is GeforceGo 4200 (laptop).

Not very familiar with Nvidia tools.

I work for Gateway in sales, If I remember correctly, the display only supports a max 1024X768 resolution coming in from the PC. Thus, no 16:9 ratio support. I know that we cant get a 16:9 ratio in the store regardless of the combination of video cards I have tried. Sorry dude.
