Oh yeah, I've had one for about 3-4 weeks now. If anyone has questions, ask me!
Can't believe that no one has asked this yet, how does it work as a PHONE?? Call quality/clarity, earpiece volume, RF performance, speaker etc....

can you run these benchmarks ?
http://androidandme.com/2010/06/news/high-end-android-gpu-showdown/
and can you verify CPU speed with this app

neocore=44.1fps
nenamark1=23.0fps
quadrant =score of 1289
and the cpu speed app they wanted results is :dont know as not sure what they want to see.
and the glbenchmark app needs a password to open.
Yes, requires that you have headphones plugged in as usual.Hey UNC, thanks for filling in the blanks for us.
Does it have an FM radio?
OK, so call quality is typical of other Verizon phones in that its generally great. Weird thing is I never see 4 bars of signal, usually never see more than 2. But that doesn't affect call quality or 3g speed like you'd expect. I use Google Voice for all outgoing calls and it works great. The speakerphone is ok (sounds clear) but it's not as loud as other Verizon phones I've used before.Can't believe that no one has asked this yet, how does it work as a PHONE?? Movies look great, even noticeably better than the Incredibles screen. It rested using a 480p rip and it didn't appear that lower dpi hurt image quality too much. As for mkv support, I use Act1 with flat mp4 files so not sure what the native player supports.Seconding this, even though most of my stuff is text based it's still going to have to pull phone duty.
Also have you tried to play any ripped divx movies with it and if so how is the performance? Does it support .mkv (anybody?)
Regarding the notification LED, I noticed that something else recently gave me a blue notification but not sure what it was (not bluetooth though because I don't use it.)
Will do, any suggested hosts for the video or should I just use YouTube?Do you think you can record a video in hd and post it?

Page 4.#1 thing I'm concerned with is battery life. How would you say the battery life compares to the Droid Incredible?

I'm sorta curious about the whole lack of signal strength bars. Sounds a lot of like the same issue plaguing the Incredible.
The bar display is merely a graphic and does not necessairly indicate the RF performance of a phone.
HTC explained why the Incredible's signal icon isn't "accurate." When the radio isn't in use, the phone reduces the amount of power to it to save battery and this causes the signal reading to appear lower.I understand how it works, but the issue has plagued the Incredible since day 1 and a majority of people don't understand it. I haven't heard of any issues with actual call quality or low strengths with connections because of this issue, but nonetheless it's nice when a indicator actually works properly.
