I've always wanted to take a road trip in a big ass boat convertible like that. I figure with all that gas being saved by the cash for clunkers trade-in's, I would single-handedly keep oil US oil consumption at the same level as well.

I like all those marvdmartian, I am very surprised the 1969 442 is going for only 23k, the restoration must have been very rushed and shitty, or those cars aren't worth as much as I thought they'd be.

seems like he he thinks they're all too expensive. classic cars aren't cheap, and neither are restorations. yeah, even on a thing.

the olds seems pretty normal for a driver level resto. chevys and fords always go for more because they're more 'desirable.' read: more people know what they are, so they're in higher demand. when i drove my skylark no one ever seemed to know that that it was the chevelle's cousin (or that it still didn't have a goddamn SBC). cutlasses seem to be about the same, unless maybe it's a hurst with purdy stripes.

but i'm all for cool cars being cheaper for those in the know. too bad they cost more to restore, though.
