DS Lite in stock

I know a lot of people have been commenting in the Wii threads that they can't seem to track down DS lite's.

I've been looking for a black one since Christmas. I saw a stack of pink ones at my local BB. Those pink ones are now gone as well.

All Wal-Marts within 60 miles in my area got a crap load of them. Mine got over 20 in all. I just went a picked up a black one. I been looking on these forums for a week for one and cheapest I see was $110. I'd rather pay another $27(after taxes) and get one new.

So if your looking for one check you Wal-Mart.

I picked up a black one from Best Buy 2 days ago. Stores should be flooded with them soon.

I bought one of these pink ones at limited too (kids clothing store) about a month ago for my 6 yr old with a game called nintendogs. My 35 yr old wife now seems to hog the DS as much if not more than my 6 yr old, they have a den of dogs and get the biggest kick out of it (both of them).

Haven't even played a single other game on DS except this nintendogs, but they are having a blast with it. I ended up getting it for 150 - 30% discount because our babysitter works at the store, so i made out good on the deal at the time...but would recommend ds to anyone and we only have one game so far...

The one thing I have to say about the Pink is that the case is much less pron to discoloration and finger prints than the black or white. I would not buy my boys pink, but a guy I work with has a pink one and he loves it. He is covered with tattoos and does not seem to be bothered by the color of it. It is such a cool little device, epically if you add a R4DS.

My kids each have one (1 white/1 pink) and I gotta say, the system itself is fantastic! Coupled with a top-notch game (like New Super Mario Bros) and it is a great little game system. Some of the games we've bought are stinkers (got bass fishing and texas hold 'em real cheap and they weren't worth that!), but most are very good to great. The kids love Nintendogs, Super Mario, Mario Kart, and Animal Crossing: Wild World. The wife loves Brain Age. I think I'll get her Tetris DS too.

I read somewhere recently that the DS is the #1 game system in England.
