What problems are you having? You need to be a bit more specific.

I saw someone say that the PCI slot is 2.3 and that older 2.2/2.1 cards may have trouble. No clue if this is true or not, but that's what they've said.

I have an older Adaptec 39160 SCSI card in on my ds3 and haven't had any problems.

i have an old realtek pci wireless card that worked on my old msi k8n neo mobo. it does not work on my ds3. i have uninstalled/reinstalled drivers several times. still, there was a question mark in device manager.

today, with the wireless card out(i got tired of fooling with it), even after uninstalling it's drivers, i notice there is still a '?' in device manager.

at this point, i am guessing it is a mobo issue.. even though i have already ordered a new pci card. i searched gigabyte's site and found where someone else seems to be having the same prob: http://www.gigabyte-usa.com/Support/Motherboard/FAQ_List.aspx

^it's the 12th question down under the 'Driver/Software' category^
however, the links are broken for me

and that's where i am now.

Try plugging it in a different PCI slot. My Xi-Fi card (PCI 2.1) would cause the board to not boot if I plugged it into either of the bottom 2 PCI slots. It works fine though if I have it in the PCI slot right under the graphics card.

ill try that with the new card. i would rather not keep pulling it in and out of the ds3 with it's thin pcb not knowing if it's actually the card itself that is broken or not. thanks

i went ahead and tried it. it works fine now.

*i would have tried that before, but was afraid the constant in/out would damage the ds3.
