Hi everyone,
I've noticed this quirk with NVidia DSR since I've owned my 4k TV (LG C8), and it's been the same issue on both a 1080ti and the 2080ti I have now.
Basically when using DSR, it seems to have set up the DSR levels from the maximum reported resolution of my TV which is 4096 x 2160, rather than the actual native resolution of the TV which is of course 3840 x 2160.
This means that as 4096x2160 is not a 16:9 resolution games often run with black borders or other weird quirks.
Is there any way to force DSR to run from 3840x2160? I can imagine if I can remove 4096x2160 from the list of reported resolutions this should work?
If not, the only thing I can think to do is disable DSR and use custom resolutions...
Any ideas at all/anyone else experienced this issue?
Thanks a lot!
