Dual DDR 2700 locks and crashes 333 but not 266 fsb

What is the best way to check if the RAM is not up to par. It does not seem to handle the bus it is rated for. Fails PRIME 95 quick at 333 FSB but at at 266 FSB it runs for hours and hours, even with the CPU overclocked (or without). I have the FSB at 333 (1.6 duron rated 266) running at 2075mhz.

I would download a program called memtest86. You need to burn it to a CD and then have your bios set to boot from CD. Run it overnight at the speed you want it to run at and see if you get any errors. Run it overnight because it will render your computer useless while it runs.

I don't have a burner right now i can get a hold of one but is there another way like off a zip?

Im not sure you are using the only other test I can think of off the top of my head. Im sure someone else can help you though

You can boot memtest86 off of a floppy. There is an installer at www.memtest86.com that will make a boot disk out of a formatted floppy.

You can boot Memtest86 off a floppy too. Keep in mind this can only isolate the problem down to the hardware/bus. It can't tell you if it is your motherboard or memory, or both.
