dual dvi output- one agp card, one pci, or one dual dvi agp?

are there advantages to one over the other? I've got a nice AGP card "spare" (9800Pro). so I could just get an extra pci card for the second monitor

would you advise doing that or buying a single dual dvi agp card?

which dual dvi agp card would you suggest? which pci card?

Do you do a lot of gaming? If so, then getting a 6600GT with dual DVI would be good.

If you dont do much 3D then 9800pro paired with say a 9200 with dvi *if it exists, will be fine

Do both monitors have a DVI input?? There are a few inexpensive DVI cards. There is an ATI 9600 based dual DVI card for ~$140 check Newegg. Nvidia makes a card in the same price range, but the video quality is not as good as the ATI. R

since the 9800Pro has one dvi, and one agp, and I'll already be using the dvi... wouldn't I need an agp to dvi, not dvi to agp for the last one..?

the reason I didn't want to just get a convertor was because I was told there would be a pretty significant decrease in quality

Yeah I have to use an adapter right now and stuff seems fuzzy. Like others said, it depends on what you are doing. Dual DVI would probably be best bet, but the card of choice depends on how much power you need. I use an x850XT PE because I'm a gamer, but sadly haven't upgraded me monitor and it's analog.
