Dual LCD Question

I just bought a 2nd 2001FP. Im running the two monitors on my 6800GT, but when I play a full screen game, the secondary just goes idle. Is there some kind of program I can use to make it stay active? Also, is there any software I can install to multi-task on these monitors? IE: Play a game one one, use AIM on the other?

As far as running both while playing a game the only way you can do that to my knowledge is if you can run the game in a windowed mode. As far as software that goes back to that problem. If the game can be run in a windowed mode you can run it on one and whatever else on the other no problem (other then some games take a big hit performance wise when windowed and others don't even have a windowed mode) without any extra software.

I have been running dual monitors with my 9800 for at least a year. It ran fine with a game on the primary and ventrillo which was on my extended desktop. To avoid problems I kept my desktop resolution the same as my apps (both monitor resolutions)

I purchased a 6800u and now I have the same problems as you. Any game/diret3d app will make the primary monitor go into sleep mode. I have not figured out this problem, All I know is that it is relative to my mother board (MSI Neo2 Plat.) With my P4C800-E the dual monitor runs fine. There may be a conflict with the ultra 250 chipset or something.
