Dual monitor is an AMAZING thing :)

I've been working with a dual monitor setup for a few months now. 17/15" CRT's running 1152*864 and 800x600 respectfully. The image on the 15" isn't great at all, but it's functional.

Anyway, at first it felt very very strange having 2 desktops and moving things around between the two.

Well, today I ordered a 21" Dell P1130 so I'll be running a 21/17 setup.

I disconnected the 15" because I re-arranged my desk... I feel so stuck and confined with just the one monitor!

This sucks!

I hate going back to a single screen!

I've got 2x 17" LCDs at work and it's amazing. Single screen setups just don't work so well anymore.

I've decided that 17" LCDs are about perfect. Two of anything bigger might be too much for me.

HUGE screens would be amazing to see though.

I have dual 21" monitors at work and love them. At home I only have 1 19" LCD. At work I have spreadsheets and email open in 1 monitor and other stuff in the other. I decided against getting dual monitors at home since I usually only do 1 thing at a time and I couldnt justify the cost and loss of desk space. At work I'm doing 4 things at a time so they really help there. I'm waiting to upgrade to an 8ms 21" LCD at home.

Those IBM's are pretty nice, but I wouldn't want them because of the 50MS response time.

Two 2001FP's here. I hate going to work and having to use one monitor. As for usefullness, I use one for main things (web, e-mail) and the other to put up the TV tuner or music program or whatnot. It really does grow on you after a while.

My 30" is more then enough actually. I can't even imagine what I'd use a second 30" for, though the sex appeal is high.

I was thinking about another Sony SDM-P234 to compliment the first. But that would just be plain crazy.

i have 3 fw900s, gave 1 to my brother and ran dual setup, too big, too much work space, too overkill, too hot and really cramp my desk. decided to put the new one in the box for future use incase i will have another worthy rig or the current one shows its age.

I couldnt go dual LCD atm unless they have sorted out ghosting properly.

I watch TV on my LCD via. my TV Card and the ghosting during football matches is too much for me.

yes, multimonitor is just one of those things that you CANNOT go back to single monitor without feeling frustrated.

Running 21.3" and 17" LCDs here

I've been running a 19" CRT and a 17" LCD for a while now. At first I didn't find much useful to do with the LCD, but I'd have to admit it has grown on me a lot. I thought about hooking up another 15" CRT, even.
