dual monitor

I am trying to add a second monitor to my HP8665C. HP says that I cannot add another video card as it will conflict and indeed it does. I want to know how to bypass the motherboard I810chipset to be able to run two monitors on my new computer. I can't believe they made it so one could not add a second monitor

Can you disable the onboard video? Do you have two free PCI slots? If so, just get two new PCI video cards. I run a 4 meg virge card for my secondary card but you're limited in choices for your main card.

i have an i810E chipset in my Dell, and the only way that i think you can get a second moniter is if you put in another PCI video card, and leave the onboard off. but that may even not work. my suggestion is you call HP and ask them if adding the other vid. card will work

I have the same problem and only 2 total PCI slots. One is filled with a network card. Whenever I insert a PCI STB card into the only free PCI slot it bypasses the integrated AGP graphics and I am still left with only one monitor.
