Dual Power Supply Mod??

Does anyone know how to hook up two power supplies into one system? I'm surprised I haven't heard anyone mention this so far. Most of us are running into power problems with the number of cooling devices and peripherals that we are adding to our system. Most of us do not have money to buy a 300+ Watt power supply to handle it. However, many of us have extra cases and 250watt power supplies lying around however. I was thinking, Does anyone know the exact pin out of the atx power connecter? I wanted to split the power switch on the motherboard to output to TWO 250 watt atx power supplies. One for the MOBO and fans. The other for the cdroms/harddrives. As a result, when I power up the system it will power up all peripherals at one time. Has anyone done this yet, and if so how did you rewire it? Any thoughts fellow cyber-citizens??

And if you'd like I'll post it all here in great detail, also i saw a mod that required a atx psu extension cable to make a dual psu rig that you could reuse.
