I'd be happy if they'd just release the rest of the series. Apparently Disney stopped one volume short on a number of DVD releases (Duck Tales, Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, etc.).
Oh, you mean this one? :sneaky:

I used to love the gritty Sonic. Even had a subscription to the Archie comics at one point, which were somewhat based on the show. It was on Netflix at one point. Wonder if it still is.
I occasionally watched the crazy version too, which is still better than anything Sega has pooped out in the last 15 years.
Adventures Of Sonic is more of a guilty pleasure of mine. I watched it because I was Sonic's bitch back then and I gobbled up anything with his name on it, including the comics. The one good thing about Adventures of was how much of a pompous unapologetic douche bag Sonic could be.

Oh God no. That is rough.

For some reason, it gives the same adventure vibe as Gummibears.

Exosquad ftw
I still remember this being the first cartoon I watched where people were getting killed left and right.
After having kids, I saw the DVDs on sale. They really need to remaster these and upscale them to 16:9. I was disappointed with the quality.
???
How would you do that? You'd have to stretch (distort). That, or you'd have to crop -- removing detail from something that already has less detail than a high-def image.
