YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Police in Ohio say they were called to a house by a man who complained he'd gotten too high smoking marijuana.
The Youngstown Vindicator reports that Austintown Township police on Friday found the 22-year-old man curled in a fetal position on the floor, groaning and surrounded by snacks that included Doritos, Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers and Chips Ahoy cookies.
The newspaper reports that the man told officers he was "too high and could not feel his hands" and that he'd "smoked too much weed." He even told officers that he still had some marijuana in his car and gave officers the car keys so they could go get it.
Officers found a glass jar of marijuana and paraphernalia in the man's car after he gave them his keys. The man refused medical treatment and so far has not been charged with a crime.
and at the end of the day, someone used so much weed they scared themselves into calling the cops, yet had absolutely zero harm done to them as a result.

Yet if he would have gotten drunk he could have done something to hurt himself or others. Great double standards we have in this country.
Cannabis these days can be extremely potent. I've seen folks go a bit overboard which resulted in a panic attack. Like, an "I'm going to die of a heart attack right now please help me" type of panic attack. Although it can be scary in the moment, that's really all it is...just a panic attack. Deep breaths, walking outside, other yoga-type practices, etc. will all help and eventually you calm down.
As far as it being spiked, of course we don't know that it was, but in my experience, cannabis is rarely spiked as it's a waste of money for the dealer. That's not to say this guy didn't do it himself, which obviously a lot of people spike their own supply.
I backtracked it to the source since I thought that was fishy too. The original story quotes a cop as saying that.The phrase "surrounded by snacks that included Doritos, Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers and Chips Ahoy cookies" makes me question the validity of this. What reporter would see that as pertinent information, name the items in a story with legal considerations (got past her editor?), and it's funny...
