There you have it folks., no one can be rehabilitated and all incarcerated should stay that way until the end of their. When eligible for parole it should be declined as no one can be rehabilitated.

That is true, but relying on him to care for small children is like forcing the alcoholic to be the wine taster. If one's business is having babies, one should have a bit more smarts about raising them than putting them in the care of an admitted child molester. That may be a bit harsh for fourteen, but much as I dislike Lena Dunham, fondling children at fourteen is simply in a different universe than fondling children at seven, regardless of what she might or might not have done or whether there was any sexual component to it. At fourteen, there is no excuse for not understanding that this is wrong and WHY it is wrong. Assuming that he hasn't repeated then I'm glad for their family that his life (and theirs) wasn't ruined, but still seems like an unacceptable risk with their (many) other children. So while I agree with your point in principle, send his ass to live somewhere without children. Other children count too, and being incarcerated isn't the only bad thing out there.I noticed that too. Hypocritical that O'Reilly pushes for and lauds Jessica's Law and then that same outlet tries to go easy on a father that knew his children were being molested and that very father is now downplaying the molestation during their interview.
FWIW, I don't fault the Duggars for not turning their son in. If I found out that my son had major issues like that the last thing I'd want for them is to be locked up. I'd send them to a serious rehabilitation center. If it got out of control then turning them over would be the last option because at that point you have to admit failure on your part to help them.
The REAL question is if that son has his issue under control today. If so, then they made a decent decision that gave him another shot at life without all the stigma. That is, if he was able to be rehabilitated. Obviously he hasn't gotten into any more trouble, but who knows if others may come forward now.
I'm not even bothered by the fact that a 14-year-old sexually touched someone in a way that everyone can agree is inappropriate. You do stupid shit at age 14; that's why we don't try 14-year-olds as adults for most crimes. But when you do that stupid shit, you need a parental or authority figure to step in and say, "that was wrong, this is why, do not do it again." I'm not bothered by the initial action, I'm bothered that a 14-year-old did this in multiple instances to multiple young girls over a period spanning a couple of years. Where the fuck are the parents? You are missing out on a critical piece of where fucking up as a teenager is a learning experience; you need someone to play to role of the teacher. These people are too busy pumping out kids to be responsible for the ones they've already got.

I’m not defending the Duggar boy's obvious wrongdoing over a decade ago. The main victim in any story like this isn't the perpetrator, it's the innocent ones so harmfully affected. I’m not an apologist for any sexual predator, but I’m sickened that the media gives their chosen ones a pass for any behavior as long as they share their leftwing politics. Case in point, they suggest Lena Dunham's sexual assault on her sibling is cute, and she's rewarded for it with fame and fortune. Meanwhile, they crucify another, along with an entire family.
The Duggar debate needs to shift from solely the boy's obvious wrongdoing when he was 14 years old to now include:
1) The shocking, unethical leak of a private, legally protected counseling document by a politically motivated law enforcement official. Media - time to go after her or him for illegalities and for destroying the public's trust in law enforcement.
2) The media's hell-bent mission to go after the entire Duggar family for one member’s wrongdoing, while giving a total pass to perverted actions of someone like Lena Dunham - or any other leftwinger celeb caught doing awful things. Remember reports of the pedophile billionaire our former democrat president has been friends with and hung out with on the pedophile's "orgy island” full of underage girls?
Such obvious double standards applied to equally relevant stories underestimate the wisdom of the public, discredit the press, and spit on the graves of every American who fought and died for the press's freedom.
I hate for anyone to go through this game liberals are allowed to play, relentlessly attacking on an uneven playing field until a conservative's career, relationships, and reputation are destroyed. To the media's targets I encourage, "Rise above by never claiming 'victim', tell the truth, and keep the faith!"

I remember going to a debate viewing in St Louis for her debate with Biden. They handed out pins and fliers and had a pre-debate music show. They got everyone pumped up. Then the debate came on and every time she said anything "sassy" the crowd went wild. I left thinking, maybe she has a chance? Then I watched it again at home and thought, "no chance in hell."
