You had your pre-trial right after your arraignment? You talked to the DA for a DUI charge?
Tons of stuff not making sense here...
im not a lawyer, so idk how this shit works. but the judge looked at my shit, and then after i plead not guilty my lawyer said the da had to talk to us. so 2-3 hours later we talked to him and he told us what was up. btw i still dont have a copy of the police report since idk how to get a copy of it.
edit: it is a criminal charge, so why wouldn't i talk to the da?
edit 2: last time i had to go to court when i was accused of theft when i turned 19, i pled not-guilty and immediately after pleading not guilty the DA met with us in his office and said he was dismissing the charge...then we went back in front of the judge and the DA said charges are being dropped and I went home after paying the court fees. so it makes sense to me why the da would meet with us directly after
