Also, it looks like fucking Doom 3, which would be fine except for two issues: Doom 3 sucked ass, and it came out a LONG time ago.

Pretty obvious they shat this out quickly to make an easy buck.

A lot of people hoping DNF fails so they can laugh at it. I'll wait for reviews based on actual game though instead of a demo. I don't trust demos. It'd be funny if they purposely put a very bad demo out, one way worse than the game actually is, and then laugh at people. Kinda go like, 'Psyche!' Doubt that's the case though but we'll see.

i forgot the command, but a game shouldn't ship like that.. I played duke for a little bit... and it got boring real quick.

Holy crap, it's horrible.
I really wanted this to be good, and I loved Gearbox for doing Borderlands, but this is just not fun.
It was interesting for a while seeing all of the Duke nostalgia stuff, but it got old. Fast.
I didn't have high hopes, but it didn't even achieve the ones I had. The previews made it look awesome, the demo made it look mediocre, and the final game definitely followed the demo more than the previews.
I couldn't give it more than a 5-6 out of 10.
The "cool stuff" like the girls, fans, and random stuff (pissing, drinking, etc )seemed tacked on and doesn't add anything to the experience (except to add to your Ego meter).
I'd be pretty upset if I was actually one of the people who anxiously waited more than 10 years for this.

Today's awesome Duke moments-

The remote control car bit was fun for a minute, but then it's all just turbo->ramp, dodge, turbo->ramp, etc.
Turned normal size again and shot some pigs and alien guys.
Played some slots. Got a +2 ego boost.
Shot some more pigs and alien guys.
Took some steroids and punched some more pigs and alien guys.
Left the casino, an EDF soldier said about a dozen awesome curse words in a row then asked me if I wanted green power armor (OMGLOLMASTERCHIEFLOL!). I just wanted a gun.
Shot some more pigs and alien guys.
Got an RPG, shot it at more pigs and alien guys.
Got bored and decided to quit. Not sure I'll start again.

Wow...the game looks terrible. I was thinking that I would probably buy it after it drops to $20 or so but I won't bother at all.

Wow reviews for this game so far are either 'meh' or downright negative. I wasn't expecting a great game by any stretch, but I was at least expecting something decent. Looks like I'll be waiting for the $5 steam sale though.

Again, I think we need to wait and see how the multiplayer is. That's was the really enjoyable part of Duke 3D, and I didn't expect anything out of the single player for DNF. I'll probably never play it.

Now if the multiplayer sucks... well...

I didn't mention the graphics because they honestly didn't bother me. I was more concerned with gameplay mechanics and other more important things. The quality of the graphics was the least of this games worries.
A final thought - would the real Duke Nukem lift the toilet seat before peeing?

Yeah, 80 for an exclusive early PC Gamer review is pretty bad.
