dumb question: wii or xbox360?

If you'll have a lot of friends over to play multiplayer, you're going to find the Wii much better. Even taking turns in Wii sports (only have 1 controller) is alot of fun.

Otherwise though, the Wii's lineup seems rather bad. Zelda is amazing, but after that I'm not so sure I'm going to be happy with it.... in fact I'm thinking of selling my Wii. Far Cry looked like it would be good, then it completely flopped.... which makes me worried about future Wii games.

If you mostly like SP games, the 360 hands down as far as I'm concerned. Oblivion, GRAW, Gears, CoD2, etc...

There aren't a lot of games out for the Wii yet, so if you're on the fence you may want to wait. If you want it now and game selection is important, get the 360.

I think the Wii's controller is ideally suited for racing games, especially with the steering wheel attachment.

I'll be picking up both.

A 360 as soon as I can get a decent deal on one and a Wii when I can find one without loosing out on my beauty sleep.

I SUPER HOPE that Amazon does that "Buy 3 games @ full, get 1 free" thing again. It's a great way to buy brand spanking new games at an ok price (it's great for those who hate to wait, like me )
