So you have Rush stating that:

"the most dangerous place you can be is between a liberal woman and her morning-after pill."

Without a single mention that he, himself was/is an addict of pills. I think that this is some "Fuzzy" logic, if you know what I mean.

Where is the outrage from the right about this, blatantly obvious, hypocritical analysis? Why, they are the defenders of truth in media...outing the slant that is always present on every media outlet that exists. :disgust:

Better words could have been chosen if he desired.
Putting "Fuzzy" is a give-away

Rush is a moron. He said yesterday, I believe it was yesterday, about the situation with Paul Hackett in Ohio that there's a racial aspect since Sherrod Brown is black.

Oh, really?

Unless my memory is faulty, Rush was addicted to painkillers and "hillbilly heroin," not morning-after pills (which aren't addictive AFAIK). However, it's still in bad taste for him to say (not surprising considering IMHO he's a moron) and completely missing the legitimate political issue of whether it should be sold over-the-counter. IMHO, the scientific issue of allowing OTC useage is settled, and I don't really agree with the political argument that it shouldn't be, but I can see where that POV at least has some legitimate reasons for people to support it (such as the "dangers" of pre-teens being able to buy it easily).

Before you start claiming "hypocritical analysis" you need to understansd that in noway is the morning after pill and being addicted to pills even remotely the same.

We all know what the morning after pill is for....basically you can act like a fool the night before and then wake up and have some insurance that you wont have to bear that fools child...lol

I think that I need to clarify my train of thought. I am not comparing the different medications and their uses. I am comparing someone that went to great lengths to acquire pills stating that you don't want to get in between liberal women and their pills. It seems as if you really wouldn't have wanted to get in Rush's way either.

I'm still waiting for Rush to make an example of himself and self-execute since he said ALL addicts should be executed.

You know the funny thing about that quote is that you would think 'liberal' women wouldn't need the morning after pill as much. Unlike the conservatives they would know how to use a condom/birthcontrol thus not getting themselves into that situation.

You can call a women who gets pregnant unexpectedly a fool all you want, but what do you call someone who gets addicted to pain killers to the point he is buying them with illicit prescriptions? Especially one who claims on his nationally syndicated radio show all addicts should be executed?

I don't know if there are words strong enough to describe that. I do know what I think we should call anyone foolish to take anything that person says seriously. Tool.

Me too. If he was a man of his word and executed himself my respect for him would skyrocket.

Of course he doesn't mean rich, white drug addicts with high dollar scripted drugs should be executed... only the poor and minoritiy drug addicts who do 'low brow' drugs like cocaine, etc....

Hah - and I thought "call-out" thread weren't permitted. Oh well, if you can't prove me wrong, try to drag my username through the mud...

Rush is a pompous blowhard - who really cares what he says? You can bundle him in with his "evil twin" Al Franken - they both *really* like to hear their own voices, and provide more comedic value than anything else (usually unintended).

The difference is that Franken has never been convicted of anything he complained about on his show. Oh, and he's not a racist.

Limbaugh hasn't either, has he?

Oh, and he's not a racist.

Or so he says. There's no litmus test for racism. He does appear to hate people that disagree with him, though.
