Duracell Rechargeables: AA ($.77 ea) & AAA ($.50 ea) [Get's even better...]

I have the PS3 recharger. It takes awhile to recharge the batteries but I suspect its because they are being charged for the first time. I let it go over night. They do heat up but I wouldn't worry about it. They haven't blown up yet and I've charged about 34 of them in a row.

Hey, that's the charger I have. On the plus side, the batteries DID get charged, although I think it took about 12 hours or so. Also, I noticed you guys are getting charged shipping. Oddly, they forgot to charge me shipping, although I did have tax charged. Don't ask me how, it must've been an error in shipping. At $29, for 50 batteries, I can't complain!

i bought an energizer accucharge that came with the charging station as well as 1600mah aa batteries

will this charger work with 1800mah aa batteries?

You should know that MCM and Newark are the same company. MCM is the consumer arm, Newark sells mostly to OEMs. These are probably coming out of the same lot purchase and the same warehouse.

I was at Newark's headquarters in Chicago. Their website and ordering process sucks. They're used to dealing with companies and Purchase Orders, retail and credit cards throw them off a lot. Not surprised you're seeing orders go with no shipping cost.

Worth a try, but order from MCM and tell them Newark has a lower price. Try to get new price. They're the same company.

Newark sucks. AAA Price is $.85 now. I swear these were .49 (AA) and .43 (AAA) about 4 weeks ago. I placed two orders and their damn website didn't take either of them. Their CS SUCKS! I call and get confusion and shuffled around. I'm gonna say I'm Motorola next time, see if that makes a difference.
