Wait, I just thought of something. What's the point of doing this in the first place? A 1.8ghz Duron costs $39 at newegg. Add the $10 for a conductive pen or a defroster repair kit, and you've now spent what an Athlon XP1800 costs. The Athlon doesn't need to be modded, and will overclock to a higher (better performing) fsb, because of it's slightly lower multiplier. And even better than that, for $67 you can buy an XP2400 Thorton, which is nothing more than a Barton with half of the cache disabled, exactly like the cache has been disabled on the Durons. For anyone interested, here's the link showing how to "convert" your Thorton into a Barton:

edit: Oops, all of those prices are from newegg, so obviously newegg is where you can get a 2400 Thorton.
