Those guys who are using the delta 38 cfm fan and unable to sleep in the night, try the following. Change the delta with the stock fan that came with your duron..
I did this today. The fan is 6000 rpm and its much quieter and with my PAL 6035, the temps stay at 28 c at 600 mhz and 33-34 c at 950 Mhz. Not much change over the delta..
please try this and post your results..

I tried a 60mm YS Tech 27 CFM and a 23 CFM I could tell the difference in temp. I didin't try the stock fan though. The bolt patterns weren't the same. I ended up using a Sunon 40 CFM 80mm case fan. I ducted it from the Alpha to the back of the case. No more vibration on heatsink. And, it dumps the hot air right out the back. It really wasn't that hard to do.

And it is much quieter, because the 80mm spins at alot slower RPM not 7000 rpm, but still moves more air than the 38 CFM Delta.

how are you getting 33-34C at 950mhz!!? How well placed is your temp probe and what is your case temp?

33c does sound alot like a case temp. not a CPU temp. My Case temp is 33c. My CPU temp is 34c idle now with this wild cooling and 54c top with Prime 95 or Final Reality or something running full tilt.

I am sure my probe is touching the core because when I removed the cpu, I could see scratch mark on the backside of the cpu. Also I don't bent the thermal probe all the way. I make sure I have to apply some force to bend the probe while I am pushing in the cpu. My case temperature is 25 c. I have a table fan blowing in and the case is open. But this doesn't matter because even if my probe is not recording the cpu temp correctly, the error would be the same for the delta fan and the stock fan.
