I got a Duron 700 with 1,6V voltage. How can I determine the production week out of the codes on the Duron?

Flash,
You should see something like this:

D600 AST 18
AKBA 0027TPAW
92010130508

This is a Duron 600 (D600), Week 27 (0027), serial # 92012120508. The other numbers refer to manufacturing processes, manufacturing plant and such.

Thanks GaryTcs

I found these codes on my Duron

D700AUT1B
AKCA 0043SPJW
93299160389

OK, as I understand this is a Duron700 @ 1,6 Volt / max. temperature 90°C
productionweek 43. What mean the other numbers? which manufacturing plant?

Duron 700Mhz
Package Type PGA
Operating Voltage 1.6V
Temperature limit 90 degrees C
Level 2 Cache 64Kb
Max FSB 200Mhz
Week 43

Unless i'm mistaken, all Durons are being produced in Austin FAB 25 plant. Aluminium interconnects.

Umm, sorry, it's all i can tell at the moment.

Some are made in Germany, Drasden or something like this. Copper interconnections.
But where you got the reference table for the numbers?
Can't find on AMD site...

I'm pretty sure that copper interconnects are reserved for the 1000mhz+ Athlon parts. Aluminum seems to fail somewhere around 1ghz @u18. "Blue" is the desired core color, where "Green" is not.

This would mean that there are no blue Durons, and even the 1.2ghz blue Athlon seems fairly limited in overclockability. The highest Athlon I've seen is 1.4ghz, (from 1.2ghz, I assume)not nearly as satisfying as the Duron 600 @ 1000.

Sorry GaryTCs, my local computer shop has a pile of blue core Durons, I thought the same thing. They probably have aluminium interconnects, just were made at the Dresden plant.

Both the "blue" and "green" cores are blueish, so it would be hard to tell the difference unless side by side comparison was made. Either way, Durons have the aluminum core, so 1ghz is about the max.
