Ok.. .so today I got my Pioneer DVD-305S SCSI DVD drive and I was hooking it up to my sound card and noticed that the supplied card is a MPC (2PIN) cable and my DVD-305S only supports MPC (4PIN). So what I planned on doing is switching the MPC (2PIN) to my CDR/W and using the 4 PIN with my DVD Drive. Now here is where I ran into some trouble. I got the 4 PIN connected to the DVD drive fine... now on to connecting the 2PIN MPC to the CDR/W. One problem though... the connectors are Jummpers... and the top one is for the Signal and the bottom one is for the Ground. Now the MPC (2PIN) cable has a black and a white wire... how do I tell which is Signal and which is ground?
