I've been attempting to make some DVD movies from edited MPEG2 files but the encoding step(before burning to disk) seems to unsyncronize the sound track assoiated with the video. The sound usually gets ahead of the video by up to 5 seconds in some cases. The MPEG movie plays perfectly before the encoding process. The programs I've tried that do this are NeroVision Express, Roxio EZCD Creator 5.0 and Cyberlink Power Director pro/Disk Wizard. I'm almost thinking it's a hardware problem but it's happened on two different systems(but the same burner) which is a Nec 1100A.
Does anyone know of a program that authors .mpg files without screwing up the sound? Or could the burner possibly be bad, it seems to do all other burning stuff fine.
