I buy my DVDs in bulk and found a site that has awesome prices if
you buy in QTY's of 100 or more.

List of their DVDs

100 is $0.89
200 is $0.79

There is also a promo code number you can get
from the AVS FORUMs that will give you an additional
$5 bucks off the total of the order.

If you cant find the promo code PM me and I will give it to you.

I think these prices are only for the 1x, but I have burned them at 2x successfully with my A04.

Starting 11/3-10 Office Depot has also has deals on the the Memorex 5 packs.
$19.95 with a $10 rebate for the DVD-Rs, and $22.95 with a $10 rebate for the
DVD+Rs. Since Buy.com is offering the 10-pack of +Rs for $26.00 without a rebate,
that's clearly the better deal (particularly because there is a $10 off $100 coupon
out there for buy.com). Those wishing to pinch a penny on -Rs, however, might
not mind ending up with 5 for $10.

I'm still waiting for my Sony unit from Dell, but as I just received word that they
shipped my retail WD 120GB hard drive last week, after telling me that it wouldn't
come until the end of December, hope springs eternal!

How do these burn at 2x with the hacked pioneer firmware? Has your friend tried them out at all or just 1x. I hear most of the Riteks will burn

Last month I bought a 100 spindle of Princos and out of maybe 5 or so I tried at 2x only 1 worked, the one I did at 2x on accident (I forgot to change the settings in Nero). They burn fine at 1x & movies play back fine on my Apex 5131. Lately I've been burning with Recordnow Max using the Record & verify settings. I've had a couple fail the verify, but overall the discs are pretty good. I'm going to try some Ritek's next as I hear that they can be burned at 2x.

I don't recommend princos at all.

Go for TDKs or Verbatim dvd-rs
If you search pricewatch, you can get them around 3 dollars
(includes jewel case)

I've talked to a bunch of people about Princos and they don't seem to work on Xbox's very well. I've been buying DVD-Pro's at meritline and they're all right, haven't tried 2x yet. I'd like to get my hands on some Ritek's but I just ordered another 200 DVD-pro's yesterday.

IMO Princo's are crap. No two packs I've bought are the same. The last 10 I bought don't even recognize as blank media when I put them in the drive.

Riteks are may favorites. They work perfectly in Xbox, PS2, and PC.
