Hi all, I'm having a really weird problem between my DVD-ROM drive (Toshiba SD-M1402) and my motherboard (MSI K7TPro-2a). When the computer starts up, the drive isn't recognized by the BIOS (where it lists all the drives connected to the IDE controllers) if there's a disc in the drive. However, if the drive is empty the DVD-rom is properly recognized. Any suggestions for a remedy? New 4-in-1's? Do I need to change a Windows setting (XP Professional)? Any help would be appreciated, as this is a frustrating problem.
