Doesn't matter if it's out-of-date, from my experience.

They denied a rebate I submitted, even though I followed their instructions 100%.

They said I had purchased it from a "Non Rebate Retailer." Of course, neither their form nor their website specified that restriction, nor do I know where it would have been valid.

Run away!!!

Yeah, I've heard bad things about these rebates... Taking forever, and getting rejected are the two biggest complaints.

Great , I'm just now mailing in the best buy $30 rebate, guess I can kiss it goodbye, well I usually follow up like a hound dog on these rebates, we'll see!

I too was rejected a $30 rebate because Fry's electronics is supposedly a non retailer (they mailed a rejection postcard). I prefer using the free software vs. DVD X anyways. I use dvdshrink, imgtool, and dvd dycrpter and they work perfectly.

if the retailer advertised it, bitch to them. while they dont technically have to honor it theyll do it 9 times out of 10 to keep a customer with enough bitching

Hi All,
Be careful of Pinnacle Systems rebates!!!!. I'm now in my 5th month of waiting for my rebate. It's been pure hell trying to get hold of these people. To make a long story short, I became tired of waiting, called wheresmyrebate. They told me Pinnacle pushed back paying the rebates, though I have been approved and waiting 5 month's. I forget how many different people I called, talked to, I feel a big run around! before I finally got a place to email Pinnacle concerning my rebate. I e-mailed them going on two weeks ago, no answer so far. Damn near two weeks is more than plenty time to answer a e-mail.
I went to ftc.gov website to file a complaint, which as far as I understand you're allowed to do, when a rebate has not been sent after the company's specified waiting period.
Not able to locate a rebate complaint form, if anyone can help I would appreciate it.
may not seem like much but 50.00 is alot of money to me, I followed their procedure, was approved!!!, now they aren't following thru on their obligation to complete the contract. That's the way I view a rebate, a contract!!
They are still offering ton's of rebates on their products,

I contacted Amazon concerning this fiasco, their answer, we just sell the products, the rebates are up to the individual company's. They advertise the product's w/rebates. I feel they are responsible just as much as the company who's product's they sell using the rebate as a promotional means of increasing their sale's

About 2 years ago I purchased a Hercules sound card from Best Buy with a MIR to TCA/wheresmyfuc*ingrebate/New Rochelle UNfulfillment center. TCA gave me the same round around about the manufacturer has pushed back the rebate date and hasn't given TCA the approval to "release" the funds. Bull. It took exactly 6 months and many emails and phone calls to TCA and Hercules before I got my check. Each company blamed the other as the reason for me not getting my money even though TCA said I was qualified to receive my money 6 weeks after I had mailed it in. I stay far away from TCA rebates and Hercules products.

I too received a post card from Studios 321 saying my $30 rebate is denied for None rebate retailer. On their rebate form, there was no reference to any particular retailer that the software must be purchased from.I followed every requirement on the rebate form. I sent them an e-mail on Nov 1 and so far I haven't heard from them.If I don't hear from them within a reasonable time, I will file a complaint with the Post office, as I understand it, using the mail to defraud people is a federal felony.I urge all of those whose rebates were illegally denied to do the same.I will also consider a class action law suit so please post if your rebate was unfairly denied.

My rebate is for the Instant cd/dvd program, which if I remember correctly ,you're able to receive rebated for up to 99 copies of the program @ one household/name.
It's been longer than two weeks now since I emailed Pinnacle, still no answer

I did a rebate for Instant CD/DVD recently (paid $40 - $40MIR). It was very timely FWIW - less than 8 weeks.

Just called 321Studios about my rebate rejection.

The number listed on the rebate form does not connect any longer with the folks at 321Studios handling the rebates. I was told by the CSR that there is no 800 number to call to reach the rebate folks, and the CSR could not help me with my issue. regarding the phony reason for rejecting my rebate request.

At best, he told me to email an inquiry to rebatequestions@321studios.com

These guys are either disorganized and overwhelmed by the rebate volumes or they are scamming their customers. I smell big-time fraudulent incucement here.

I tried a rebate with them and was rejected outright. I would love to file a class action as it never stated a particluar retailer on the form. Be very afraid.

received my rebate a couple days ago. If anyon ewould like the address to e-mail Pinnacle concerning their rebate ,pm me will give it to you.
It took one nasty e-mail but after almost 6 month's I finally got it. Just hope it doesn't bounce now
