Nice, it works! I used to use the free version of DVDFab HD to backup my stuff, by my copy was old and expired.
DesiPower (and all): Passkey has the built-in ability to rip the full contents of a Blu-ray (or DVD) disc to your hard drive (1) as a folder structure or (2) as an .ISO disc image. Put in the disc, right-click Passkey in your system tray, and select your ripping option.
Passkey doesn't appear to support movie-only ripping, so you will need to use a different tool for that once you've decrypted and copied the disc contents to your hard drive. I use the free beta version of "BD Rebuilder" (
http://www.jdobbs.com ) for Blu-ray, and the old workhorse "DVD Shrink" for DVD.
I played around and backed up 2 of my movies last night. Passkey did not auto-scan the second disc when I inserted it. I had to right-click Passkey in my System tray and choose "exit", and then restart Passkey. It then scanned the disc and I was able to rip it to my hard drive.
