If I owned anything nVidia I would want DVI, but analog is perfectly fine running on my 9700PRO. I'm sure DVI would look better even on a good 2D card, but from what I've read the difference is negligible.
While in 2d, the difference isn't that noticeable (it is still pretty obvious if you run dual LCD's, one analog and one DVI), it makes a *huge* difference in anything with motion. DVI streaks and ghosts way less, and often has much less blurryness as well.
DVI on a good LCD is inarguably sharper than any CRT, IMO; analog is sharp but you could make a very convincing case that professional CRT's are sharper.
Also, cleartype/text look discernably clearer on DVI.
Two of my bosses run dual Dell 1703FP's, one on digital and one on analog; it takes seconds to notice which is which, and the clarity difference is surprising! Until you've actually worked with it, you don't realize how much of a difference DVI makes!

Difference between DVI and analogue on my 191T is noticeable to my eyes, it`s crisper/sharper & also another advantage is most DVI LCD monitors also have an analogue connection as well so you can hook up a 2nd PC to the monitor and switch between DVI and analogue with a touch of a button(like on my Samsung 191T).
For gaming going DVI is also better.
Bottom line, if I was buying a LCD monitor again I would make sure it has DVI connection even for $90 more.
Does your 191T ghost as much as mine in fast games like UT 2k4,
Mem? I run a CRT/LCD setup, and do 90% of my work on the LCD, but UT 2k4 and Far Cry are a bit too ghosty for me on my 191T; I have to switch to the CRT's for FPSes, personally.
