I can at least see the argument for the first four, but pushing driving back to age 25 would be devastating. How would people go to school and hold jobs?

Yeah I agree. That's why I said maybe. Maybe some sort of limited license only for work/school. Just spit-balling here. May be a moot point soon anyway now that self-driving cars are becoming a reality. Then we can just say you have to be 25 to unlock manual driving mode.

As much as I love driving, I'm really ready for completely automated vehicles. I'm hopeful they'll be at least decent in the next 20 years.

While upbringing could easily be a factor, it sounds to me like genetics is undoubtedly a factor here (and environment is often intertwined by amplifying gene expression). Many people that are bigoted to even a degree similar to them never kill anyone, and it's unusual for females to be like this girl.

Yeah, but some of those aren't really infantilizing. Allowing people to drink in early teens is ridiculous, and older age restriction doesn't really infantilize anyone but is implemented to save lives (which it has). But I agree on others. Military enlistment at 25 and over would be stupid and ridiculous.

Just talking about brain development here and the science says the parts of the brain associated with fully understanding the consequences of your actions is not fully developed until 25. There is a huge difference between saying someone is helpless and saying they aren't old enough to drink/smoke/own deadly weapons.

It would not be stupid or ridiculous. It would never happen though, because our illustrious leaders would have a damn hard time fielding a military large enough to play world police anymore, or blow up brown people for their resources. Exceptions would obviously have to be made to repel invasions, though. I would have no problem with the National Guard remaining 18+, for example.

That is a fair point. That is why you are not mature enough to drink until you are 21, but you are mature enough at much younger age to go for these foreign adventures, which involves lots of killings.

I am not a liberal, by the way. Just pointing out the hypocrisy. Both sides are full of them.
