current layout.
Windows 2000 server
4 HDDs dynamic disk.
2 x 18GB HDDs (raid1)
- split into C:\(4gb) and D:\ (14gb)
2 x 36gb HDDs (raid1)
- F:\ (36gb)
what i want to do is copy partition D:\ to F:\. Then after the
partition is copied, i want to merge C:\ and D:\. Then i will rename
F:\ to D:\.
So the end result should be C:\ (18gb) in raid1 and D:\ 36GB in raid1.
I picked up Powerquest Volume Manager 2.0 and when i launch the
application, it gives me an error saying it does not support dynamic
disks; ONLY BASIC! Also checked out the demo of Advanced Partition
Manager 6.0, and that seems to have the same problem also.
If anyone has any idea of how to do this, i would be greatly thankful!
