... at least 6hrs in line , 3 coffees + snacks , pee

between cars , COLD ! , 2 hrs to check out < 3 @ Frys > ,

the younger you are , the more ~fun~ , but

I really love to sleep-in in the AM ...

I perused a great part of hdguru.com and the whole site sounds like one big shill for "name brand" manufacturers. How about do a little research before grabbing the glass of kool-aid and taking a huge drink...many "off-brand" electronics today are rebadged "name brands".

Nowhere does this supposed "hdgugu" ever acknowledge the fact the article contains mis-statements and *almost* blatant disregard for fact. All I seem to see is pimping of Sony, Sharp, Panasonic, et al.

I'll add to this thread that I jumped on this deal...bought 3 (2 for kids' rooms and 1 for office) with Amex so warranty is extended and even got a free 4-yr BB platinum warranty out of the deal...5-yr warranty for zip, zilch, nada...my cost was still hundreds below what a 42" from Sony, et al would have been.

BB doesnt just give stuff away.......

Especially on THREE TV's. Thats 3 things for free.......

Please Post your receipt. I would love to see the deal so we can all get in on the action.......

I ordered 3 online with store pickup...when I went to pick up the TV's, they weren't ready and the counter rep was not very accommodating.

After a 20-minute ordeal of standing in line to just be told they haven't pulled the TV's up to the counter yet and they would have to scan the boxes, I was told I'd have to wait another 20 minutes while the "senior" representative could finish checking me out. I asked the rep why they couldn't pull my order up in the system and pull the UPC number from that so my transaction could be completed in a timely manner. I got the "how the heck do I do that" look so I walked calmlly over to the store manager and expressed my displeasure at the whole ordeal and that I was cancelling my order and would be expressing my displeasure with Regional and Corporate offices.

He asked, "What would it take for you to walk out of here with the TV's without complaint?" Without blinking I said, "No-charge 4-yr Platinum warranty on all three TV's."

I don't have my receipt with me (at work) to upload unfortunately.

Had the same problem last year with a online order, they checked the box and my receipt 3-times before i could leave the store.. will be a long time before i ever shop at worstbuy again.
