Been one of the best I have ever bought and the best about it is it has absolutly no filters what so ever to replace. Uses the same cyclonic technology as the Dyson but at 1/4th the price

here here, the fusion really does suck (but in a good way), the dyson is so over priced compared to the hoover fusion, and they are the same technology.
when i bought the fusion it was exclusive to walmart, not sure if that's still the case, but anybody interested in purchasing a dyson, save yourself the money, and get the fusion.
True so far, but you need one last line:Originally posted by: Maximus96
it looks like the majority of the dyson bashers/haters do not have actual experiences with the vac...whereas those saying dyson is good actually have one or used one before...

Those who have objectively rated both give the Dyson Ok marks, and cheaper vacuums Good/Great marks.

i always hear radio commercials and see the old guy on tv. what cracked me up on the tv commercials was when the woman emptying a bag from a different brand vac squeezed the bag and puffed the dirt out on purpose while the narrator tells you how cumbersome it is to empty the bags. Then she struggles to crawl up some stairs lugging an off-brand vac while the narrator tells you how incredibly light the oreck is. I seriously doubt the weight difference between an Oreck and any other vac is drastic enough that you go from crawling up stairs to walking up stairs.

$10 says that if I ran my Dyson over the path you vacuumed with your Kenmore, there would be a lot of dust and dirt it would pick up that your Kenmore couldn't.
It's not just what you see on top of the carpet, but what's in and below the carpet. A Dyson will get all of that crap. And no filters and easy to dispose of the dust and dirt.
What you (and others in this thread) describe is the most common vacuum salesperson gimmick. Use vacuum A then repeat with vacuum B. Guess what? Regardless of what A and B are, vacuum B will pick up stuff that A missed. The fact is, they don't pick up much with each vacuuming - lots is left behind. Thus B is not necessarilly better than A. Otherwise the reverse test would show that A is better than B.
The fact is that no vacuum gets everything even in a dozen passes or more. The Dyson, of course, requires more passes since it isn't as good as the Kenmore, but eventually they'd both get everything up.

lol, your last statement only proves that this was a poorly vieled attempt at discrediting the Kirby.
