Who placed an order this past weekend has gotten a confirmation e-mail from E Toys? My order placed on 1/12 still says pending. I'm on hold with them still waiting to talk to a person (been holding for 45 min now). Just wondering and a little worried about this order and E Toys too.

I was thinking yesterday, after I saw the prices on the Web
site bounce WAY up, that it was time to speculate on some eToys
stock...Basically, it looked like they were selling off in
advance of going out of business and then, suddenly, had a change
of heart. Why would they have a change of heart? Could be a buyout
in the offing...

The wife placed a big order last weekend (Jan 13/14) and has gotten shipping confirmation from eToys on one item so far. I'd complain about the money she's spending except I just bought 256 MB of Crucial PC100 RAM for $112 (15% off+free ship).

1-2 items have been shipped, for the rest nothing has been shipped.

How this constitutes a hot deal, I dunno, however...

I got an email from Etoys said that the shippment will be delayed due to high volume of responds.

My order from 1/12 still says 'Pending" too.

As far as the prices go, I put about a dozen items in my cart that I thought about buying if the prices fell a little more. The total at the time was around $230. I just checked this morning and the same items now total $385. Oh well, nothing I really needed anyway.

I got confirmation this morning that my order shipped.

THey used USPS Postal Select - basically last class mail.

What, exactly, is &quot;Postal Select&quot;? Is this &quot;Parcel Post&quot;. Because
to my knowledge, Parcel Post is last class mail. My experience
with Parcel Post is that it can take as long as 3 weeks for
something to get across the country...(On the other hand, it
can take 2 days; luck of the draw or something; I have noticed
that most of the time when I insure a Parcel Post package, it
takes closer to 3 weeks than 2 days--anyone who works for the
USPS care to comment?)

Placed an order on 1/13 and the tracking number shows del. sched. for 1/19. They had really good prices for: Diablo II Special Gift Pack $28.99, Kingpin $11.99, Escape From Monkey Island $8.99 ( this game just came out-retails for $40 ), Kings Quest $8.99, Tomb Raider: Lost Artifact $8.99, Mech. Warrior 3 $8.99.

I received confirmation #s 2 days ago for my orders placed on 1/11 and 1/12. But so far those #s are still not in the post office's database. Anyone else here have the same problem?

I ordered a ton of items a couple of days ago. They better not use last class mail, because I paid $160 in shipping for a $480 order! That's 33% of the total.

last class? that would be 4th class book rate (for printed, bound material). no they didn't that, they shipped 3rd class parcel post!? and no tracking on it either! shiiiii....

btw, i got back a measure of satisfaction when i ordered some radio flyer wagons. they weigh about 30 pounds, but they still only charged their $3.25 per item shipping charge. hehehe, yodayoda 1, bad guys 0!
